Młodszy Inżynier IT - SOC (k/m)

Agro Aplikacje is a modern in-house software company supporting innovative IT solutions necessary for the tasks of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARiMR). We design, simplify, and expand systems using modern technologies to assist ARiMR in digitalizing the Polish agricultural sector. The position is within the Infrastructure and Security Department, Cybersecurity Services Division, Cybersecurity Team (SOC).

• Higher IT education and/or postgraduate studies, specialist courses related to IT systems administration, IT infrastructure, IT security engineering or at least 1 year experience as Junior IT Engineer or related role; or secondary education with specialist IT courses and at least 3 years experience in the role.
• Basic knowledge of ISO OSI model and relationships between services/protocols in layers, e.g., ARP, DNS, SNMP, ICMP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, syslog.
• Knowledge of security services and technologies such as XDR, NGFW, Web-Proxy, WAF, MFA, routers, switches, network forensics solutions, sandbox, and others.
• Knowledge of configuration and administration of Windows, Linux, Unix operating systems.
• Understanding of network threats and security systems and technologies.
• IT security knowledge in at least one domain: Windows/Unix operating systems, networks, databases, or web.
• Readiness for onsite shift work (12-hour shifts), including night shifts.

• Analyze suspicious messages and files reported by internal users.
• Respond to and analyze incidents in SIEM/SOAR systems.
• Monitor availability of services on the Internet.
• Create recommendations for process improvements and collaborate with SOC L2/L3 teams on their implementation.
• Develop new procedural scenarios.
• Collaborate with other teams ensuring security and service continuity.
• Work in a shift system (24h/7/365 days).
• Proactively research information on new threats.
