Power Platform & BI Specialist

The role is for a Data & Automation Specialist at Link Group, focusing on developing and improving internal reporting, analytics, and business process solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies. The position supports various business areas by simplifying manual processes and building reliable reporting solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate and Power Apps, including designing workflows, business logic, and integrations.
• Comfortable working with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience with SQL and structured datasets.
• Knowledge of data transformation, ETL/ELT concepts, data validation, and quality checks.
• Experience with APIs and system integrations, including Microsoft Graph API or similar.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience processing Excel and CSV data.
• Exposure to enterprise reporting and data extraction tools.
• Familiarity with platforms such as ServiceNow and Snowflake is advantageous.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 reporting and usage analytics.
• Knowledge of Viva Insights or Viva Engage Analytics.
• Experience with Entra ID reporting.
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks.
• Advanced Power Apps development.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting, data, and process improvement needs.
• Design and deliver dashboards and analytical solutions for operational and management decision-making.
• Build and maintain automated business processes such as approvals, notifications, and data transfers.
• Develop lightweight business applications to support internal workflows and data collection.
• Combine information from multiple systems for reporting and analysis.
• Improve quality, consistency, and usability of datasets and reports.
• Maintain and enhance solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Configure access and security rules for reporting and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot data, automation, and integration issues and implement improvements.
• Support integrations between collaboration tools, reporting platforms, and external data sources.
• Develop scripts/utilities to automate repetitive data and file-processing tasks.
• Document implemented solutions and provide user guidance.
• Continuously identify opportunities to replace manual activities with efficient digital processes.
