Test Engineer

Mindbox connects top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. You will join the Hilda 2.0 (HTC) modernization program, responsible for migrating multiple legacy .NET applications and MSSQL databases to a modular, cloud-native Azure ecosystem. The stack includes React + TypeScript frontends, .NET 9 APIs, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. Your work will focus on building robust and reliable testing frameworks ensuring quality throughout the project lifecycle.

• 5+ years of experience in test automation with custom framework development.
• Strong coding skills in C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (or Selenium with willingness to switch).
• Experience with unit/integration testing in xUnit/NUnit, frontend testing with Vitest/Jest.
• Experience integrating tests with Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Solid SQL skills (MSSQL/Azure SQL).
• REST API testing and authentication flows including Azure AD, JWT, and OAuth.
• Self-driven and capable of owning the test automation roadmap.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Azure services, ADF, ETL testing, and Power BI verification.
• Contract testing (Pact) and performance tools (k6, JMeter).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and observability tools (App Insights).
• Relevant certifications: ISTQB Advanced, Azure, Test Automation.

• Own and evolve the automated testing process: frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy across unit, API, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Build end-to-end automation in Playwright (for React apps), backend integration/unit tests in xUnit (.NET), and frontend unit tests in Vitest/Jest.
• Embed automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (pull request checks, nightly runs, pre-release gates).
• Ensure test data management, maintain test reliability, and publish quality metrics.
• Validate data flows across Azure SQL, ODS, and DWH; design data-driven test scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with developers on acceptance criteria and mentor on testability.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT): prepare environments, verify scenarios, and document results.
