POWIŚLAŃSKA Akademia Nauk Stosowanych in Gdańsk is the employer offering this IT position. The role involves supporting IT infrastructure and software systems at the institution, including the medical simulation center (PMCSM).

• Higher education (including bachelor's degree).
• Profession: IT administration technician.
• English language skills: speaking B2 (upper intermediate), writing B2 (upper intermediate).
• Communication skills and high personal culture.
• Very good computer skills.
• Good work organization.
• No final conviction for intentional public offenses or intentional tax offenses.
• Full legal capacity and enjoyment of full public rights.
• Polish citizenship.
• At least 1 year of overall work experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience with network security products like Fortinet and Mikrotik.
• Experience with software backup and maintenance processes for solutions like Symfonia and ProAkademia.

• Ensure operation and service of devices such as computers, printers, scanners, projectors, monitors, network equipment, and video monitoring systems, including device component replacements, also for PMCSM (medical simulation center).
• Perform maintenance and periodic inspections of hardware and infrastructure.
• Assist in the selection, modernization, and implementation of software and hardware.
• Configure, install, update, and maintain network security solutions such as Fortinet and Mikrotik.
• Update and perform backups of software including Symfonia, Płatnik, ProAkademia.
• Maintain smooth operation of the PSW remote learning platform.
