Senior Java Developer

The project is a B2B long-term engagement in the transportation and logistics industry, with a fully remote work arrangement within the EU.

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in Kafka, specifically Confluent Kafka (KStreams etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Java for backend applications.
• Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas and PostgreSQL.
• Kafka Certification.

Nice to have:

• Experience with OIDC, OAuth2, SAML for authentication.
• Knowledge of Docker for containerization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with the ELK stack for logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Building, testing, and deploying software using standard CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing microservices for data processing, database interaction, and application data exposure.
• Applying architectural patterns suitable for event-based data streaming and web services.
• Ensuring logs are created, easily understandable, integrated with the logging platform, and setting up necessary alerts.
• Testing software focusing on functionality, quality, fault tolerance, performance, and scalability.
• Integrating security features like federated authentication and role-based access control.
• Participating in a guild for backend developers to exchange knowledge and best practices across teams.
