Production Engineering Specialist

We’re looking for a Production Engineering Specialist to join a global financial services and banking technology environment, supporting mission-critical platforms that power international payments and financial transactions.

• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• 3+ years of experience with Linux and Bash
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and components
• Experience with shell scripting and automation, especially Bash and Python
• Good understanding of system monitoring and performance tuning
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience in environments with frequent change and automated CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of technology layers including storage, OS, network, database, and application
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, and production support environments
• Excellent spoken and written English

• Provide end-to-end production support, including live incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, OS, network, and infrastructure layers
• Investigate major incidents using data analysis and monitoring
• Support releases, implementations, and testing in production environments
• Develop and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, and shell scripting
• Work with Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle, Kafka, and Linux
• Monitor system health and contribute to performance tuning and service stability
• Support and improve CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines
• Identify opportunities to re-engineer processes and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate with vendors, project teams, incident management, and global technology teams
• Analyze data and investigate anomalies for troubleshooting and reconciliation
