Freelance Mobile App Developer (iOS / Android)

Mindrift is a platform that connects specialists with innovative technology projects and aims to develop high-quality AI technologies by combining real-world expertise from professionals worldwide with advanced AI development efforts. The freelance position is for the Tendem project, focused on building native and cross-platform mobile applications.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of: React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI (iOS), or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (Android).
• Solid understanding of mobile UI patterns, navigation, state management, and platform guidelines.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, handling asynchronous data, and managing local storage.
• Familiarity with native device APIs such as notifications, camera, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Experience with mobile build tools, code signing, and submitting apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Portfolio of shipped mobile apps with App Store or Google Play links (preferred).
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) level or above.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
• Experience implementing in-app purchases, ads, or subscriptions.
• Familiarity with backend services like Firebase or Supabase.

• Build mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).
• Implement responsive mobile UIs following platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design).
• Integrate native device features such as camera, push notifications, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Connect apps to backend APIs; handle offline state, caching, and synchronization.
• Implement monetization features like in-app purchases, ads, or subscriptions.
• Review, debug, optimize, and refactor mobile application code for correctness, performance, and maintainability.
• Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution (TestFlight, Play Console).

This is a freelance part-time remote role. English proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) or above is required. The position is available for candidates located in Poland or working remotely.
