Senior Data Analyst

The role is part of a dedicated Grid Dynamics squad supporting a global leader in digital payments and financial technology.

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Advanced Analytics in a Senior or Lead role.
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerBI and Tableau, including advanced DAX, LOD expressions, complex data modeling, row-level security (RLS), and performance optimization.
• Strong expertise in SQL for complex data extraction, aggregation, window functions, and data validation.
• Experienced in leading AI-driven or advanced analytics projects bridging engineering and business.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fluent English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.

• Architect, design, and deploy complex, interactive dashboards and enterprise visual reporting solutions using PowerBI and Tableau.
• Lead analytical initiatives with Java Engineers and Data Engineers focusing on data pipelines, modeling, and optimization.
• Drive AI-related analytics projects integrating predictive metrics and automated workflows into dashboards.
• Translate complex financial and payment domain problems into structured analytical frameworks, KPIs, and recommendations.
• Manage the entire dashboard lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and continuous tuning.
• Serve as a key contact for Belfast-based product owners and business leaders, mentoring team members and ensuring data accuracy.
