Test Automation Engineer

Billennium is offering a Senior Test Automation Engineer role focused on improving quality and automating tests within a complex project environment. The position involves technical responsibilities in test automation, test management, and working with experienced development and testing teams.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing including functional, integration, acceptance, and automation testing.
• Experience with complex and critical systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of C# / .NET.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
• Experience creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with design patterns used in automation such as Page Object and BDD.
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role or coordinating testing work.
• Experience in test process planning, preparing strategies and plans, and quality reporting.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, TestLink or equivalents.
• Experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write and analyze SQL / PL/SQL queries.
• Experience working in agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated software tests.
• Building and enhancing test automation frameworks.
• Creating tests using C# / .NET, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Designing tests based on programming best practices, design patterns, and principles like OOP, SOLID, and Clean Code.
• Refactoring, optimizing, and ensuring scalability and maintainability of existing tests.
• Integrating test automation with CI/CD processes, including pipeline configuration and maintenance.
• Preparing test strategies and test plans, monitoring software quality.
• Identifying and managing quality risks and reporting test results.
• Executing and supporting functional, integration, acceptance, and automated tests.
• Validating data using SQL / PL/SQL.
• Collaborating on API testing and performance testing.
