Senior DevOps Engineer

We are supporting a leading global financial institution in hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a long term infrastructure and platform engineering programme.

• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Commercial experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience containerising applications using Docker or Podman.
• Hands on experience with Ansible.
• Strong Bash scripting skills.
• Python scripting experience.
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Git version control.
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Nice to have:

• OpenShift experience.
• AWS or Azure cloud exposure.
• Artifactory or Nexus.
• PostgreSQL experience.
• Financial Services, Banking or Capital Markets experience.

• Support and maintain business critical applications across enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop automation solutions using Bash, Python and Groovy.
• Manage development, test and production environments.
• Support containerised applications running on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Investigate application and infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment, monitoring and operational processes.
