Azure DevOps Engineer

UNIQA is one of the largest insurance groups in Poland with 30 years of operation, ranked 6th in the market. The company focuses on insurance services and aims to help people live better by insuring health, life, and property. This role is within the Cloud Center of Excellence team, focused on building and maintaining a Microsoft Azure platform used by critical financial institution systems.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade production environments.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Skilled with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing and developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in using Git, pull requests, code reviews, and teamwork in code development.
• Understanding of security, automation, and process compliance importance.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of ArgoCD, FluxCD, or other GitOps tools.
• Experience with observability tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP tools.
• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zone, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Well-Architected Framework.

• Develop and maintain a shared Microsoft Azure platform ensuring stability, security, and automation.
• Design and enhance deployment processes based on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, and Helm.
• Implement GitOps best practices, automated validations, code reviews, and security tool integrations.
• Develop and manage AKS clusters, automate application deployments, and support development teams.
• Implement secure and scalable architectural patterns.
• Manage monitoring, observability, and incident analysis using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, and application teams to create standards and documentation.
