Corporate Data Governance Lead (m/f)

The role is part of the Corporate Data Engineering Department within Medicover Group IT, responsible for building and driving the Data Governance framework across the organization to manage data consistently, securely, and effectively as a strategic business asset.

• At least 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Strategy, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-wide Data Governance frameworks, standards, and operating models.
• Hands-on experience in Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, or similar disciplines.
• Practical knowledge of data governance frameworks and industry best practices, particularly DAMA-DMBOK.
• Experience working in large and complex organizations with multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, analytical environments, data integration, and enterprise information management principles.
• Ability to lead transformation initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and consensus-building skills.
• Strong analytical mindset balancing business priorities, risks, and data management requirements.
• English proficiency at minimum B2+/C1 level, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Certifications such as DAMA, CDMP, DCAM, or other Data Governance-related certifications.
• Experience with enterprise data catalog, metadata management, or data quality platforms.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with data governance maturity assessment methodologies.

• Develop and execute enterprise Data Governance strategy aligned with business objectives and data transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain data governance policies, standards, processes, and operating models.
• Define and coordinate data ownership and stewardship structures.
• Drive implementation of governance practices within business processes and technology solutions.
• Lead initiatives to improve data quality, reliability, consistency, and completeness across key data domains.
• Oversee metadata management activities including business glossaries, data catalogues, and common business definitions.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to promote data ownership and governance best practices.
• Monitor Data Governance maturity, identify improvements, and report progress to senior leadership.
• Support organizational change through training, communication, and awareness initiatives to strengthen a data-driven culture.

Zgoda na przetwarzanie danych osobowych może zostać wycofana w dowolnym momencie.
