Software Engineer 1 (Backend / Mobile) - Listings (Mobile Apps)

Allegro sp. z o.o. is actively transforming its listings and filters mobile apps for iOS and Android, migrating backend services to Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem, and integrating cutting-edge technologies such as large language models (LLMs) to refine search results.

• At least 2 years of commercial experience in software engineering with strong backend skills
• Ready to work with Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem
• Genuine passion for mobile app development and willingness to learn native mobile technologies (iOS/UIKit/SwiftUI or Android/Jetpack Compose)
• Open-mindedness, flexibility, and eagerness to learn
• Proactive problem-solving approach and ambition for end-to-end ownership
• Fluency in Polish (minimum B2 level)

• Contribute backend development using Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem
• Work with native mobile technologies on iOS (UIKit, SwiftUI) and/or Android (Jetpack Compose)
• Take proactive ownership of features delivered to mobile applications
• Drive experimentation and deployment acceleration in mobile apps

Nice to have:

• Previous commercial experience with iOS or Android technologies
• Adapt to evolving team structures and technology stacks
• Engage with AI-native capabilities and modernize high-traffic services
