Proxy IT Product Owner

We are looking for a Proxy Product Owner to join a project for one of the largest players in the Polish insurance market. The client is a large organization investing heavily in technological transformation, developing own systems, data, cloud, and solutions using AI and GenAI. Technology is a key business development area, with solutions operating at large scale impacting daily work.

• Minimum 3 years as Product Owner, Proxy Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Business/System Analyst working closely with development teams
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Practical knowledge of backlog management, User Stories creation, Acceptance Criteria, and prioritization
• Experience collaborating with software development teams
• Ability to translate business needs into concrete IT requirements and tasks
• Good understanding of software development and delivery lifecycle
• Ability to work effectively with business, developers, analysts, and architects
• Independence, proactivity, and responsibility in managed areas
• Analytical approach and ability to view product from business and technical perspectives
• Interest in AI/GenAI and modern software development approaches
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, or basic system architecture

• Experience with large-scale products or platforms
• Experience in enterprise environments
• Experience with AI/GenAI or AI-assisted software development
• Experience leading products or solutions from concept/PoC to production

• Collaborate with Product Owner, business, and technical teams in IT product and solution development
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
• Create, organize, and prioritize product backlog
• Prepare requirements and tasks for development teams
• Conduct refinement sessions and ensure backlog readiness
• Cooperate with developers, analysts, architects, and testers during solution design and development
• Support product development planning and execution phases
• Identify dependencies, risks, and potential blockers
• Verify delivered functionalities against agreed requirements and business value
• Support initiatives utilizing AI/GenAI and identify areas where AI can improve products or software development processes
• Use AI tools to aid analysis, development, and software delivery
• Independently lead initiatives from analysis and solution definition to deployment
