Senior PHP Developer (PrestaShop + WooCommerce) | Project-Based Payment Integration

Polcode is a Poland-based software house working with clients worldwide since 2006. We build web, mobile, and eCommerce products for startups and well-established companies across Europe, the US, and beyond.

• Senior-level PHP skills and strong commercial e-commerce experience
• Hands-on experience building PrestaShop modules
• Experience developing WordPress / WooCommerce plugins
• Strong experience with REST API and payment gateway integrations
• Good understanding of payment flows, webhooks, error handling, and security
• High level of independence as the sole developer on the project
• Ability to make technical decisions and drive implementation without day-to-day guidance
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• Experience with unit testing of key integration logic
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to support software development
• Full-time availability for the project
• Availability to start in the second half of August

Nice to have:

• Experience with Polish payment methods, especially BLIK and pay-by-link
• A payment module or plugin in your portfolio
• JavaScript experience related to checkout flows or WooCommerce Blocks
• Experience preparing modules/plugins for distribution and platform validation
• Good command of English

• Independently build payment modules for PrestaShop and WooCommerce
• Integrate e-commerce platforms with a payment gateway via REST API
• Implement payment flows, transaction statuses, refunds, and webhooks
• Build configuration options for store administrators
• Make pragmatic architecture and implementation decisions independently
• Take responsibility for security, code quality, and platform compatibility
• Work closely with the Product Delivery Manager and QA Engineer
• Use AI tools as part of your development workflow
• Deliver production-ready modules within the agreed project scope

100% remotely within Poland or from the office in Warszawa. Start in second half of August is a must-have.
