Wymagania
- Certification as Oracle Database Administrator and proven Oracle Database Administration experience
- Experience with RAC, Active Data Guard, and Performance tuning or other Oracle Database related products
- Extensive experience with Oracle in Microsoft or Unix environments
- Exposure to LANs, WANs, Citrix Metaframe, Microsoft technologies including XP, Server 2003, SQL Server and XML
- Ability to work on weekends approximately once per month and occasionally extended hours to support clients
- Capability to work standard late shifts from 3:00 to 11:00 PM CET
- Good communication and organization skills with proficiency in English
- Well-developed analytical skills and structured working methods
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Service-minded with ability to work effectively in a team and in time-sensitive settings
Obowiązki
- Lead the management and optimization of Oracle database systems to support business and operational goals
- Oversee database installations, configurations, and upgrades to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, providing expert guidance and support to the team
- Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data
- Ensure database security by managing access controls and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
- Mentor and guide junior database administrators, fostering skill development and promoting best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define database requirements and align solutions with business objectives
