QA Engineer( on ON-SITE Kraków, Poland)

• Internationalization and Localization testing experience, especially with mobile and physical devices.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and QA best practices.
• Technical knowledge of character encoding (UTF-8, UTF-16), ICU standards, CLDR data, resource file formats (JSON, XML, .po, .strings, XLIFF), and bidirectional layout handling.
• Experience detecting truncation, text overlap, line wrapping, and font rendering issues in localized builds.
• Hands-on experience testing on physical devices and cloud-based device testing platforms like BrowserStack and Sauce Labs.
• Solid understanding of iOS (TestFlight, Xcode logs) and Android (ADB, Logcat, APK installation) debugging utilities.
• Familiarity with API tools such as Charles Proxy, Fiddler, and Postman.
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts and scripting.
• Experience testing IoT devices, wearables, or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with accessibility testing standards including WCAG, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
• Experience with Translation Management Systems and defect management platforms like Jira.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development cycles and QA methodologies.
• Understanding of regional regulatory, privacy, or cultural standards in EMEA, APAC, LATAM regions.

• Conduct rigorous testing across multiple physical devices such as iOS, Android tablets/phones, desktops, and Smart Home and Health Devices to verify functionality, responsiveness, and UI layouts.
• Develop, update, and execute comprehensive test plans, functional test cases, and exploratory test scenarios for new features and bug fixes.
• Perform compatibility testing across varying system versions, screen resolutions, and hardware specs.
• Identify, reproduce, and document detailed bug reports using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps, including logs, repro steps, screenshots, and video recordings.
• Conduct regression and sanity testing before production releases.
• Validate application architecture for internationalization supporting multi-locale enablement without code modification.
• Verify translated UI elements across multiple languages for accuracy and formatting compliance.
• Perform pseudo-localization builds during early development cycles to catch UI issues.
• Review UI for visual integrity across different screen sizes when localized strings vary.
• Manage translation asset workflows using Translation Management Systems such as Smartling, Phrase, and Transifex.
