DevOps Engineering Manager (m/f)

Grupa Pracuj is a leader in HR technology in Central and Eastern Europe supporting enterprises in recruitment, retention, and employee development. The group operates multiple recruitment services in Poland, Ukraine, and the DACH region, and builds SaaS systems for recruitment management.

• Several years of experience managing technical teams including goal setting, evaluations, and employee development
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, IaC, monitoring, and infrastructure
• Ability to prioritize between 24/7 maintenance and platform development
• Fluent communication skills with engineers and business in both Polish and English (minimum B2+)
• Comfort with cloud environments, especially Azure, and on-premises infrastructure

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
• Experience with FinOps for cloud cost optimization
• Demonstrated use of AI in daily team work

• Lead the DevOps team by setting priorities, goals, organizing work, conducting regular 1:1s, providing feedback, and performing evaluations
• Plan and execute career paths, support competency development, recruit and onboard new team members
• Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of the production platform
• Oversee 24/7 maintenance operations, incident management, and third-line support
• Balance production stability with platform development
• Serve as DevOps representative communicating with stakeholders
• Coordinate cooperation with product and security teams
• Manage team budget and infrastructure/cloud costs
• Maintain living standards for CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, code review, and automation
• Strategically plan platform and tooling development

This position requires fluent English (minimum B2+) and a strong technical and managerial background in DevOps. The role involves 24/7 support duties and hybrid work mode with presence in Warsaw office at least one day a week.
