Software Architect

• 8+ years of experience as a System/Software Architect designing robust, scalable systems.
• 12+ years of hands-on software development experience, strongly proficient in Java or an equivalent backend language.
• Proven experience building enterprise SaaS platforms and highly scaled production systems.
• Advantageous: experience in FinTech or regulated industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, especially Amazon AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, SDLC, and system integration.
• Familiarity with design paradigms such as DDD, TDD, EDD, and principles like SOLID, KISS, DRY, SSOT, CQS.
• Solid grasp of security fundamentals: encryption, authentication, authorization, data privacy, secure coding.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, API design using REST and GraphQL.
• Experience with Git branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot (Agent Mode), Cursor, or Codex CLI.
• Practical fluency with AI productivity tools such as LLM chat assistants for design, code review, documentation generation, and research.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and connecting AI agents to internal tools and services.
• Awareness of security, privacy, IP, and quality risks related to AI-assisted development and mitigation strategies.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM and agent-based components into backend workflows is a plus.
• Ability to drive end-to-end delivery of complex features.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English (C1).

• Lead architectural design across multiple domains and infrastructure systems, ensuring alignment with business, scalability, performance, and compliance needs.
• Act as an architectural partner translating business and product requirements into technical direction.
• Define and maintain high-level architecture with focus on integration, maintainability, and evolvability.
• Build hands-on Proofs of Concept to validate architectural decisions and new technologies.
• Conduct technical Due Diligence on third-party vendors, platforms, and integrations.
• Embed security, privacy, and regulatory considerations into system design.
• Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies, including AI/LLM capabilities.
• Champion adoption of AI-powered engineering tools and workflows.
• Define and enforce architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams.
• Review designs, RFCs, and critical implementations for architectural consistency and quality.
