Steam Marketing Specialist

Take IT Studio! is a dynamic company focused on video game development, independently creating various projects and assisting other developers in bringing their titles to new platforms. The company combines industry veterans and newcomers to the gaming industry.

• Strong understanding of Steam discovery, wishlists, store pages, discounts, festivals, and launch mechanics
• Proven project or campaign experience with demonstrated results
• Ability to analyze Steam performance data to support marketing decisions
• Strong written English and copywriting skills for promotional content
• Ability to independently manage marketing campaigns with a "get-it-done" mindset
• Strong attention to detail for assets, metadata, dates, promotional requirements, and store presentation

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a video game publisher or development studio
• Experience with Steam Next Fest and Steam Playtests
• Knowledge of Steamworks
• Understanding of Steam traffic sources, conversion, and wishlist behavior
• Experience with SteamDB, VG Insights, or similar tools
• Experience with influencer, creator, or press outreach

• Creating and improving Steam store pages, including descriptions, tags, capsules, screenshots, trailers, and metadata
• Planning activities to increase wishlists and build momentum before game releases
• Coordinating participation in Steam Next Fest, themed festivals, seasonal sales, discounts, and other promotions
• Planning marketing activities around announcements, demos, releases, updates, and DLCs
• Monitoring Steam traffic, wishlists, conversion rates, sales, and other performance metrics
• Preparing news posts, events, announcements, and other content published directly on Steam
• Collaborating with developers, artists, and publishing teams while independently managing Steam marketing tasks
