Senior Software Engineer - Java

The engineering team in Poland is growing and works on complex, international products in a global environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot / Spring Framework, and at least 5 years total software development experience
• Demonstrated ability to architect and lead technical initiatives
• Proven capability to architect and maintain large-scale software systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with focus on code quality and scalability
• Leadership capability without a formal management title
• Initiative to proactively identify and solve problems
• Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with engineering practices
• Collaborative approach to cross-team work
• Ability to balance pragmatism with technical excellence
• Experience advocating for quality and engineering rigor
• Proficiency in Polish and English

• Design and architect core components of the Playwright-based test automation framework
• Lead platform engineering decisions and establish architectural best practices
• Mentor junior software engineers and conduct technical code reviews
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies for complex feature sets
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and framework issues
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define testability requirements
• Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and engineering techniques
• Establish and maintain test data management and infrastructure strategies
• Drive documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering standards
• Manage technical debt and refactor systems for scale and performance
