QA Automation Engineer

Transition Technologies MS is hiring for a QA Automation Engineer position. The work focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of core English Language Learning platforms.

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API testing
• Solid programming skills in Java (test frameworks, automation support)
• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs/service integrations
• Strong understanding of test design and test strategies
• Experience in automated testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)

Nice to have:

• Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
• Knowledge of performance or load testing tools
• Experience with observability and quality metrics practices
• Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions across frontend and backend systems
• Supporting continuous delivery of high-quality software
• Proactively identifying risks related to software quality
• Collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure quality is built into the development process
