Senior Project Manager

S3 Connected Health is a digital health company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The team comprises over 280 clinicians, engineers, behavioural scientists, UX specialists, and data experts partnering with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies to develop innovative healthcare solutions that improve patient outcomes globally. Their projects cover connected health technologies including medical devices, embedded systems, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and data-driven healthcare services.

• Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field
• At least 10+ years’ experience in people and complex project management/execution
• Strong knowledge of software development and project management processes
• Proven track record of delivered projects and market implementation
• Outgoing personality and team player capabilities
• Knowledge of the professional software development cycle
• Medical or clinical domain awareness
• Proactive, open, teamwork approach
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Project Management certifications
• Experience in Medical Device project development
• Working experience with ISO 13485

• Leading multidisciplinary project teams covering hardware (electronics), firmware, software, quality, and regulatory to deliver connected medical products from concept through to market launch
• Owning manufacturing readiness, including DFM/DFA, tooling, pilot builds, yield and test strategies, and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Managing contract manufacturers, ODMs, component vendors, and test houses with oversight on schedules, costs, supply chain risks, component lifecycles, and quality escalations
• Monitoring all facets of project development
• Executing projects according to standards: ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and IEC 60601 series
• Maintaining knowledge of regulatory issues, especially Medical Device regulations (EU MDR, FDA)
• Focusing on software/firmware reliability including rigorous regression testing
• Setting and executing targets for functionality, quality, cost, and timing
• Managing day-to-day team activities
• Acting as the primary customer contact during project execution
• Performing risk management
• Providing regular communications to internal and external stakeholders
• Interfacing with customers on proposals, specifications, and troubleshooting
