Java Developer

PLAY (P4 Sp. z o.o.) uses technologies including Java, Spring Boot, SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL), REST, Git, GitLab, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ, Maven / Gradle, Swagger, SOAP / SOAP UI, Podman, React, TypeScript, PHP, Symfony, Vue.js, Temporal, and Draw.io in their projects.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining IT systems
• Proficient knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working with monolithic and microservice architectures
• Experience working in development teams and Agile environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, GitLab)
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
• Experience with integration and container technologies such as REST, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Ability to analyze PHP code; knowledge of PHP, Symfony, Vue.js, or Temporal is an advantage
• English language proficiency at minimum B1/B2 level
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for solutions, and actively participate in technical decisions

• Designing and developing backend applications in Java and implementing new business functionalities
• Maintaining and developing existing systems, analyzing bugs, and optimizing application performance
• Ensuring code quality through code reviews, testing, and refactoring
• Collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders to define requirements and select technical solutions
• Creating technical documentation, task estimation, and progress reporting
• Participating in technological transformation and migration of solutions from PHP to Java
• Sharing knowledge and supporting other team members
