Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Deep knowledge of testing best practices, software quality, testing process, types of tests, product lifecycle, and bug reporting.
• Commercial experience in Playwright or Cypress.
• Ability to design and develop automated test scripts for UI and API.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python or JavaScript).
• Proficiency with GIT version control.
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Xray, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, HTTP, REST API).
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Analytical thinking.
• Very good English (minimum B2).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of mocking objects for testing.
• Familiarity with Page Object Patterns.
• Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
• Experience in API testing tools (Postman, Tavern, or similar).
• Own GitHub repository with relevant code.
• Familiarity with Docker.

• Verifying correct software operation with functionality tests.
• Designing new test scenarios based on system functionalities and business needs.
• Executing test scenarios according to schedules.
• Analyzing test results and metrics.
• Reporting, tracking, retesting, and closing bugs following project processes.
• Participating actively in team and project meetings.
• Communicating with stakeholders to efficiently deliver high-quality products.
• Collaborating with frontend and product teams to maintain automation scripts and develop BDD user stories with acceptance criteria.
