AI Software Architect | C | C++ | Python | deep learning | Inference

This position is with 1dea, a company working in the semiconductor / advanced AI systems area. The role is for developing foundational software for next-generation AI compute platforms, collaborating closely with hardware teams.

• Extensive experience in system architecture, software architecture, or compiler development.
• Experience designing APIs for AI hardware platforms or compute accelerators.
• Knowledge of external frameworks used in deep learning and AI inference.
• Very good proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with other teams.
• Higher technical education.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2+ level for international cooperation.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with custom hardware platforms or embedded systems.
• Experience integrating software with open-source AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for deep learning workloads.

Programming Model Development:

• Define and implement the programming model enabling developers to efficiently use the AI compute platform for AI workloads.

Framework Interfacing:

• Design and maintain interfaces connecting internal systems with widely used external and open-source deep learning frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with hardware architecture and design teams to align software capabilities with evolving hardware features.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide architectural guidance to development teams ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance of solutions.

Strategic Input:

• Participate in long-term planning by identifying future hardware development opportunities driven by software needs and capabilities.
