Python Software Architect

The team comprises over 230 developers working on web and mobile applications. The company has over 24 years of experience delivering complex software solutions including product design, software development, testing, and technology consulting. They specialize in banking, fintech, and insurtech sectors.

• Experience as a Software Architect or Solution Architect.
• Expert knowledge of Python.
• Very good knowledge of Django 4.2, including Django Rest Framework, Django Filters, and Celery.
• Practical experience with Django ORM, data modeling, and data storage design decisions.
• Very good knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in query and database optimization.
• Experience designing solutions for performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience designing complex system architectures and making long-term technology decisions.
• Ability to integrate business, product, and technical perspectives.
• Experience collaborating with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Very good command of English at C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS Fargate.

• Define and evolve the overall system architecture aligned with product and business goals.
• Translate business needs into clear architectural directions and technological priorities.
• Collaborate closely with business, product, and development teams from early design stages.
• Review key design decisions, identify risks, and support teams in making technology trade-offs.
• Ensure architecture consistency, scalability, and quality across the system and teams.
• Provide architectural consultation, mentoring, and problem-solving support to development teams.
• Co-create technology roadmaps ensuring alignment with business and product priorities.
• Coordinate agreements among teams and lead discussions on complex or conflicting requirements.
• Maintain high quality of implemented solutions and technical details.
• Occasionally travel to Norway or Gdańsk office for meetings and project events.
