Azure/.NET Solution Architect

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering and system architecture.
• Strong technical background in .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Advanced experience with Azure architecture, including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Front Door, Redis, Storage, Service Bus/messaging, Application Insights, Key Vault, and CI/CD processes.
• Practical experience modernizing monoliths to modular platforms or domain-aligned components.
• Strong expertise in API, integration, security, observability, and production-readiness.
• Pragmatic hands-on approach analyzing code, logs, database behavior, Azure configuration, team structure, and release processes.
• Experience rebuilding or modularizing live systems without disrupting business processes.
• Ability to work directly with senior business and technical leadership.

Nice to have:

• Experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience with DDD, CQRS, event-driven architecture, or service decomposition.
• Experience in fast-growing companies or platforms under heavy scaling pressure.
• Experience designing systems for processes such as pricing, underwriting, policies, claims, or customer lifecycle.
• English language skills at B2 or C1 level for communication in an international environment.
• Availability ASAP and acceptable notice period up to one month ending at month-end.

• Modernize a key business platform built on .NET and Azure, moving towards a modular architecture without "big-bang rewrite".
• Assess current architecture, service boundaries, data flows, and operational bottlenecks.
• Define a practical modernization roadmap prioritizing stabilization, decoupling, and deferral.
• Identify bounded contexts and service boundaries including pricing, policies, claims, clients, notifications, documents, and product management.
• Define architectural guardrails for .NET, Azure, APIs, data access, integration, observability, security, and release readiness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leads, DB specialists, DevOps, QA, and CTO/CIO-level stakeholders.
• Translate architectural decisions into measurable business impacts such as speed, risk, scalability, compliance, costs, and operational resilience.
• Review source code and technical designs hands-on to prevent new technical debt during modernization.
