ServiceNow Integration Engineer

Procter & Gamble's Modern IT Asset Management (ITAM) team in Warsaw is on a digital transformation journey to create a trusted, AI-ready source of truth for IT asset data across applications and infrastructure components for over 145,000 users.

• 4+ years in an engineering role such as Software, Data, Integration, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language, preferably Python or JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational data modelling, including joins, aggregations, schema design, and query optimization.
• Experience integrating systems via RESTful APIs; event-driven/messaging experience is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering including OOP, TDD, SOLID principles, unit/integration testing, and SDLC.
• Working understanding of data quality concepts and ability to create automated rules and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with trends in ServiceNow (ITAM/CMDB/Discovery), JavaScript, Agentic AI, IT Asset Management, observability, and AIOps.
• English proficiency and at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM/ITAM/CMDB platforms.
• Exposure to CSDM and IT asset lifecycle concepts including Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management.
• Experience designing and operating data quality frameworks and reporting solutions in Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience administering solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including data and integration services.
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices such as Update Sets, ATF, Git workflows, and automated testing.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and exposure to Agentic AI use cases in IT operations.
• ServiceNow certifications like Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist for ITAM or Discovery.
• Working knowledge of Python/PySpark for data reconciliation, lineage, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with SCRUM/SAFe frameworks and participation in Agile Release Trains or PI Planning.

• Implement and deploy scalable engineering capabilities across the ITAM and CMDB ecosystem, covering data ingestion, normalization, reconciliation, quality, and reporting.
• Build and operate automated Asset Data Quality rules and scorecards across ITAM, CMDB, and adjacent systems.
• Engineer the Topology Coverage baseline by extending ServiceNow Discovery patterns, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules, and CSDM-aligned CI relationships.
• Develop and modernize ITAM integrations using industry-standard protocols including REST, SOAP, and event-driven approaches.
• Build data products and dashboards with SQL, Power BI, and ServiceNow Performance Analytics for stakeholders in Architecture, Security, FinOps, and Engineering.
• Contribute to eliminating ITAM/CMDB technical debt by reducing custom scripts, favoring out-of-the-box patterns and informing the ServiceNow platform RFP.
• Champion Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Deployment practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and engineering guardrails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Solution Architects, Product Owners, ITSM, SRE, and AI engineers.
• Continuously upskill in ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB/Discovery development and emerging IT operations technologies like Agentic AI, AIOps, and observability.
