Engineering Manager, Identity & Access

• Extensive professional software engineering experience with 2+ years managing or leading engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid background in full-stack development including Java and modern web frameworks like React, Svelte, or Ember.
• Deep understanding of identity fundamentals, secure session management, and modern authentication/authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs, and SAML.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and retain engineering talent while managing performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, shifting-priority environment.

• Manage, mentor, and recruit a team of full-stack software engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Partner with Product and Design to define roadmaps, plan sprints, and deliver user and customer configuration tools on Addepar’s identity platform.
• Oversee technical strategy during migration of authentication experiences to new platforms ensuring global availability and scalability.
• Align architectural and strategic identity investments with product improvements and participate in design and architecture reviews.
• Support operational health by implementing agile best practices, managing technical debt, maintaining code quality, testing, and production stability.
