Unreal Engine Gameplay Developer - 3C & AI

The Knights of Unity is a game development team creating games on multiple engines, focusing on improving each project to build exceptional player experiences.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Gameplay Programmer or similar role.
• Practical knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, C++, and Blueprints.
• Experience with modern input systems such as Enhanced Input System.
• Experience with camera implementation and character movement mechanics.
• Experience with AI systems and navigation in Unreal Engine.
• Ability to design and implement flexible gameplay systems.
• Ability to independently manage tasks from implementation through iteration to maintenance.
• Experience collaborating with design teams.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, SVN, Perforce, or Plastic SCM.

Nice to have:

• Experience working on RPG games.
• Experience with Articy.
• Familiarity with Gameplay Ability System.
• Experience porting games to consoles.

• Implement, develop, iterate, and maintain gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5.
• Design and implement 3C mechanics including character movement and camera systems.
• Create AI behaviors and navigation for enemies/NPCs.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Development teams on planning and implementing functionalities.
• Ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability.
• Participate in technical analysis and task estimation of gameplay features.

• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level required.
