QA Automation Engineer

The role is with a team developing a mobile application in the banking sector, involving both remote work and team collaboration from the office in Warsaw twice a month.

• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience
• Experience testing mobile applications on Android/iOS platforms
• Knowledge of basic testing methodologies
• Experience with Espresso (Android) and/or XCTest (iOS)
• Experience with Jenkins and TeamCity
• Familiarity with Jira and Xray
• Experience with version control using Git
• Ability to test APIs using Swagger, Postman, and SoapUI
• Basic knowledge of Android Studio (including Logcat, emulators)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Firebase App Distribution
• Knowledge of Splunk
• Experience in regulated sectors, preferably banking/finance
• Practical use of AI tools

• Creating and maintaining automated tests using Espresso and XCTest
• Co-developing Android/iOS testing frameworks
• Designing and executing manual tests for mobile applications
• Preparing test cases and documentation in Jira/Xray
• Maintaining test documentation
• Testing APIs using Swagger and Postman
• Analyzing application and system logs
• Supporting CI/CD processes with Jenkins and TeamCity
• Testing mobile functionalities such as push notifications, biometrics, and deep links
• Analyzing network traffic with Charles Proxy
• Collaborating with development, analytics, and business teams
• Developing competencies related to AI in testing
