Mid Java Software Engineer

• 2+ years of professional software development experience with production Java software
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles and their application
• Comfortable working in an agile team and communicating clearly with engineers and stakeholders
• Genuine curiosity about technology, domain, and colleagues
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, Docker, or Kubernetes is a bonus, but eagerness to learn is equally valued

• Build and maintain high-performance Java services for sports data and betting products running 24/7 at global scale
• Work across the full stack of features including design, implementation, testing, and production
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions on AWS, learning distributed systems under real load
• Collaborate on architecture and design discussions
• Write clean, well-tested code and improve it through peer review
• Develop domain expertise in a technically demanding real-time environment
• Work closely with senior engineers, embrace TDD practices, and grow through pair programming and collaborative problem-solving
