Forward Deployed Engineer

At Albatross, a company building an AI platform for real-time discovery with perception models that adapt to live user behavior and dynamic catalogs, serving tens of billions of predictions per year across 150+ million products. • Degree in engineering or computer science.
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with complex datasets.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and partially defined requirements.
• Product and business judgment focused on delivering customer impact.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Eligible to work in Europe.

• Own customer deployments end-to-end, from technical onboarding and data integration through production launch.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for customers, working closely with their teams and aligning stakeholders.
• Understand customer use cases, pain points, business objectives, and technical environments.
• Translate client business needs into working technical solutions with the R&D team.
• Dive into client data to ensure quality and correctness.
• Train and monitor ML models, using metrics and dashboards to track performance and drive impact.
