Business Transformation Lead | Bulgaria

Deloitte is hiring a Business Transformation Lead to join their Operations & Business Transformation practice. This role involves working with clients primarily in manufacturing, production, retail, supply chain, or operationally intensive sectors to drive operational excellence and business transformation initiatives.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, operational excellence, business transformation, or process improvement
• Experience within or advising manufacturing, production, retail, logistics, supply chain, or operationally intensive businesses
• Proven success in process optimization, cost reduction, lean transformation, operating model and organizational effectiveness improvements
• Strong knowledge of operational KPIs, value stream mapping, process analysis, and performance improvement methodologies
• Experience implementing technology-enabled solutions that improve operational performance
• Ability to translate business challenges into improvement initiatives and transformation roadmaps
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong client-facing experience engaging senior business stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level decision-making
• Fluent in Bulgarian and English
• EU citizenship or valid work permit to work in Bulgaria required

Nice to have:

• Consulting experience at Big4, strategy, operations, or boutique firms
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other project delivery certifications
• Experience leading teams, workstreams, or complex transformation programs
• Knowledge of operational technologies, ERP platforms, automation, process mining, analytics, AI-enabled productivity tools, digital manufacturing solutions, or supply chain technologies

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients to improve performance and realize business value
• Assess operating models, business processes, and organizational structures
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, waste elimination, and cost optimization
• Lead process redesign initiatives and support new operating models and ways of working
• Develop business cases, value realization plans, and transformation roadmaps

• Lead or support end-to-end transformation programs from assessment to benefit realization
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams
• Structure and solve complex business challenges using data-driven and hypothesis-based approaches

• Monitor value realization and support adoption of transformation initiatives
• Identify and advise on technology-enabled solutions and digital transformation initiatives
• Translate business requirements into practical solutions with technology and business stakeholders
• Evaluate emerging technologies for client applicability
• Build trusted advisor relationships and identify growth opportunities
• Support proposals, client presentations, and sales pursuits
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership
• Work with senior executives and operational leaders across industries
