Chief Technology Officer

• Minimum 3 years experience in a strategic technology role related to system architecture, digital transformation, or complex platform development in e-commerce, retail, or similar scale organization.
• Ability to create unified technology development direction for large organizations and translate it into architecture, standards, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
• Experience designing and developing architectures covering sales platforms, core systems, integrations, data, infrastructure, and business process support solutions.
• Understanding roles of ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS systems with ability to design their architecture, integration, and development direction.
• Experience developing scalable digital platforms supporting sales, consistent customer experience, and omnichannel integration.
• Capability to integrate technology environments of different companies or business units, deciding on unification, development, replacement, or retirement.
• Knowledge of technology requirements for building shared data and AI platforms including integration, availability, scalability, security, and AI development environment.
• Skills to assess existing technology environment, identify areas for modernization or redesign, and plan transition ensuring continuity.
• Experience in technology cost analysis, system landscape simplification, technical debt reduction, and decision-making on internal development vs. external solutions.
• Ability to prioritize technology initiatives based on business value, cost, feasibility, architectural dependencies, and risk.
• Proven technology implementations with measurable business results like revenue growth, conversion improvement, scalability increase, faster deployments, or cost reduction.
• Experience in strategic dialogue with C-level management, presenting technology recommendations and communicating business, cost, risk, and development impact.
• Leadership skills to set direction, foster collaboration between technology and business teams, and lead complex technology changes.
• Result orientation combining long-term architectural thinking with consistent execution of agreed roadmaps.

• Define the shared technology strategy and translate it into target architecture, standards, and development roadmap.
• Set direction for e-commerce, marketplace, and omnichannel platforms ensuring scalability and consistency.
• Design target architecture for ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS systems and integrate them with sales, logistics, financial, and service platforms.
• Integrate technology environments of x-kom and Neonet, standardizing or replacing solutions as needed.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives considering business value, costs, dependencies, feasibility, and risk.
• Prioritize technology investments and advise management on platform, system, infrastructure, and key integration development.
• Develop architecture supporting consistent customer experience across online and offline channels and the omnichannel model.
• Provide technological foundations for marketplace growth and new business models ensuring scalability and integration.
• Define architecture of shared data and AI platform with Chief AI Officer and data owners.
• Ensure technology environment supports secure data acquisition, processing, sharing, and AI solution development.
• Modernize technology infrastructure improving scalability, reliability, security, and organizational growth support.
• Lead reduction of technical debt and simplify system and integration landscapes.
• Optimize technology costs by analyzing system, infrastructure, license, external service, and resource usage.
• Decide on development of internal solutions, purchasing ready products, and cooperation with suppliers and partners.
• Establish architectural and technology standards and ensure their consistent application group-wide.
• Assess impact of key business initiatives on architecture, integrations, data, infrastructure, and technology costs.
• Collaborate with business, technology, data, security, and finance areas to align technology development with group goals.
• Regularly report to management on technology roadmap progress, results, budget use, risks, and recommendations.
