IT Operations Specialist / SRE

The company operates in the banking industry and is looking for a specialist in IT Infrastructure & Operations with a focus on IT operations and site reliability engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations or application support (2nd/3rd line).
• Proven experience in end-to-end incident management.
• 2+ years working within an ITIL framework.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Helm deployments.
• Background in Java/J2EE development.
• Operational experience with IBM DataStage.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Experience with Ansible.

• Own the root cause analysis process for production incidents, diagnose, resolve, and implement preventive measures.
• Continuously monitor service health and act on anomalies before incidents escalate.
• Trigger and oversee release deployments via CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot failed deployments.
• Ensure stability in Pre-Production and Production environments, maintain expected daily behavior.
• Document operational procedures and known issues in runbooks and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate closely with development and platform teams to triage issues and clarify operational requirements.
• Identify pain points and propose automation to improve operational efficiency.

Hybrid work requiring 2 days per week presence in the office located in Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw. Only candidates fluent in English at full professional proficiency level considered.
