Network Automation Engineer

RTB House is a next-generation performance demand-side platform (DSP) that uses proprietary Deep Learning AI algorithms to help brands grow. Founded in 2012 and operating in 90+ markets, RTB House provides end-to-end Deep Learning-powered AdTech solutions. The company processes over 26 million HTTP requests per second across four global data centers (EU, APAC, US East, and US West) and relies heavily on open-source technologies and modern infrastructure automation. The Network Infrastructure Team designs, builds, and maintains their global network, managing hundreds of switches and routers, developing network automation tools, and ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Excellent command of a Linux/UNIX environment at System Administrator level or higher.
• Experience with Linux low-level networking tuning and debugging.
• Understanding of network fundamentals including switching, routing (IPv4/IPv6), and TCP/IP.
• Proven experience with dynamic routing protocols, especially BGP.
• Experience with network automation using tools like Ansible and Python.
• Familiarity with modern data center technologies such as Kubernetes networking, EVPN, VPP, and eBPF.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving environments.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud networking (GCP, AWS) for hybrid environments.

• Execute Linux low-level networking tuning and debugging to maximize OS stack performance.
• Design, expand, and manage global network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) across multiple data centers.
• Work with open-source technologies like SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud).
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Ansible, Python, and version-controlled workflows.
• Develop daemons and automate builds and testing to shape the production SONiC ecosystem.
• Ensure network security, reliability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to deliver fast and reliable services.
• Participate in strategic projects such as data center expansions and designing new network components.
