DevOps Developer

Join our Client's innovative teams as a DevOps Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our Cloud Development tools & Development environment offering. This team is responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the Developer’ tools and development environment used by the organisation.

• AWS certifications.
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS including Amazon Q and Kiro.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).
• Proficient in GitLab pipelines.
• Good knowledge of IT security principles.
• Advanced software development experience including Git, Python, and TypeScript.
• Experience with AI development including agentic AI, delivery of AI solutions at scale.
• Familiarity with AI tools for developers (Amazon Q, Kiro, Claude), coding assistants, and AI agents.
• Practical experience with IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ).
• Service management experience (ITIL or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of Developer experience.
• Proven track record in collaborative and agile development environments.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive attitude with commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Strong team player.
• Community management, support, or communication handling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.

Software Development:

• Collaborate with team members to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Show code ownership through team code reviews, SonarQube quality checks and implementation of Cosmos best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Write unit tests and integration tests where necessary to increase confidence during development and deployment of the code.

Automation and Orchestration:

• Utilize GitLab, CI/CD, and scripting skills to automate deployment and code analysis.
• Suggest and implement automation to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects, system administrators, and other developers for integration and interoperability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities to contribute to team expertise.

Documentation:

• Document code, scripts, and configurations for maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the team.
