Senior Data Architect

We are partnering with a dynamic, high-growth tech hub based in Warsaw that powers innovative digital products for a US-based market leader. The company combines the energy of a scaling product team with the stability of a global parent organization and prioritizes mature, collaborative professionals and mutual trust.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and scaling complex, enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Hands-on mastery of modern data stacks such as BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, SQLMesh, Airflow, Dagster, or Fivetran.
• Proven ability to quickly spin up cloud proofs of concept and justify technical/architectural decisions in deep technical discussions.
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English and Polish.
• Comfortable with occasional late afternoon/early evening syncs to align with US-based product partners.

Nice to have:

• Background in fintech, insurtech, or other highly regulated industries.
• Prior experience delivering machine learning production platforms, large language model tooling, or agentic AI workflows.
• Experience scaling engineering practices in mature, product-focused environments.

• Define and execute the end-to-end data platform strategy, supporting real-time analytics, ML pipelines, and AI-driven platforms.
• Build and validate high-performance lakehouse environments using the medallion architecture in modern cloud setups.
• Implement practical data governance, end-to-end observability, and cataloging tailored to a decentralized data mesh framework.
• Drive core infrastructure choices, champion engineering best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional product and engineering leaders.
