• Professional experience in SRE, Infrastructure, or DevOps roles managing high-scale distributed environments.
• Advanced programming skills in Python for scalable automation, internal tooling, and robust scripting.
• Hands-on experience with production-grade Kubernetes, configuration management tools like Ansible, and resilient infrastructure architecture within Azure Kubernetes Service and on-prem environments.
• Proficiency with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Tempo, Thanos, and Jaeger.
• Ability to manage incident responses, conduct post-incident analysis, and foster reliability culture.

Nice to have:

• Experience with commercial APM platforms (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic) and chaos engineering tools.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management and FinOps principles.
• Experience defining and tracking SRE metrics (SLI/SLOs) and managing error budgets.
• Experience with AI/ML techniques applied to SRE tasks like AIOps, anomaly detection, and log analysis.
• Skills in managing technical debt and aligning team output with organizational goals.

Observability Platform Engineering:

• Develop a standardized observability ecosystem with structured events, distributed tracing, and intelligent sampling strategies.

Reliability Enablement:

• Partner with product engineering teams by providing platforms, standards, and data for service reliability.
• Use error budgets and alerting to balance feature velocity with stability.

Proactive Resilience & Protection:

• Enhance detection capabilities for early issue identification.
• Leverage AI/ML for automated anomaly detection and intelligent data analysis.

Operations & Tooling:

• Build internal automation and tools to streamline SRE workflows and automate routine tasks.

Incident Management & On-Call Rotation:

• Participate in on-call rotation to manage incidents, ensure rapid resolution, communication, and post-incident analysis.
