Product Lead (Trading)

TradeFill, in partnership with Railsware Product Studio, builds trading products. The team includes founders and experienced product and engineering leaders. Railsware is known for developing products like TradeZella, Calendly, and Mailtrap.io.

• 5+ years in Product Management
• Hands-on experience shipping SaaS products for B2C and B2B markets
• Ability to own and communicate end-to-end product vision
• Experience with product management frameworks, product analytics, and design tools
• Independently run customer development and market research
• Experience delivering software products in US and/or EU markets
• Active trading experience in futures, stocks, crypto, forex, or similar markets
• Experience with day trading, scalping, and/or swing trading
• Technical background to understand high-level architecture and work directly with engineers
• AI fluency using AI active in research, prototyping, analysis, and decision-making
• Proficiency with SQL or equivalent for ad-hoc product analysis
• Competency with design and prototyping tools
• General software literacy with developer workflows and dashboards
• High autonomy and independent decision-making
• Strong decision-making ability based on imperfect information and data
• Structured thinking and ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Data-driven approach with hypotheses and data validation
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Experience in product roles at brokerages, trading platforms, or fintech
• Experience defining and executing go-to-market strategies
• Engineering background
• Public speaking or content creation

Product Strategy:

• Own and contribute to the end-to-end product vision
• Communicate the vision to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Transform strategy into a prioritized product roadmap
• Prepare billing models aligned with revenue and profitability goals

Product Prototyping and Discovery:

• Lead product ideation, prototyping, and discovery sessions
• Conduct customer development activities, including direct calls with traders and users
• Perform market research and competitive analysis

Product Development:

• Define and scope features for development
• Lead development process using Agile methodology
• Manage risks proactively and troubleshoot issues

UI/UX:

• Create AI-driven prototypes, mockups, and wireframes
• Collaborate with product designers on UI/UX best practices
• Improve product UX to drive conversion and retention

Product Analytics:

• Monitor and improve product success metrics such as MRR, CAC, LTV, Churn, and NPS
• Conduct ad-hoc web and product metric analyses
• Make data-driven decisions in collaboration with the data analytics team
