Tech Lead (SAP)

Convista Consulting is a community of SAP experts influencing solutions and business development for clients, specializing in SAP FS-CD and operating in the insurance sector with projects in Germany and Switzerland.

• Experience analyzing and designing business processes
• Knowledge of payment, receivables, liabilities, and financial clearing processes
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Ability to conduct workshops with clients and business users
• Experience creating business concepts, functional specifications, and user stories
• Experience cooperating with business clients
• Very good knowledge of German (minimum B2, preferred C1)
• Willingness to travel to Germany and Switzerland
• Communication skills, initiative, and customer orientation
• Several years of experience as an SAP consultant or business consultant
• Experience with SAP FS-CD, SAP FI-CA, or SAP PSCD modules
• Experience in SAP solution configuration (Customizing)
• Experience in SAP implementation and optimization
• Experience with functional, integration, and UAT testing
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and architects
• Experience in implementation or transformation projects
• Ability to independently manage selected project areas

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
• Knowledge of Test Management
• Experience managing workstreams, work packages, or subprojects
• Mentoring or coaching experience

• Analyze business requirements of clients in the insurance industry
• Design durable and efficient solutions based on SAP FS-CD best practices and standard functionalities
• Advise on optimization of payment, clearing, and receivables management processes
• Plan, organize, and conduct workshops with clients and project teams
• Develop business concepts, user stories, and functional specifications
• Configure the SAP system (Customizing)
• Conduct functional tests and support integration and acceptance testing
• Train and support key and end users
• Cooperate closely with developers, architects, and business teams
• Participate in implementation, optimization, and transformation projects for insurance companies in Germany and Switzerland
• Take responsibility for selected areas, work packages, and subprojects
