Data Engineer

Fabrity S.A. is recruiting for projects involving the construction of data platforms for industrial and production clients, focusing on the entire cycle from requirement analysis to implementation and deployment.

• Experience in requirement analysis, including direct client collaboration
• Experience designing and implementing databases and data warehouses
• Experience designing and implementing data lakes
• Experience building ETL/ELT processes using data integration platforms
• Knowledge of Python and Apache Spark
• Ability to independently manage tasks from analysis to deployment
• Communication skills with ability to explain technical topics to non-technical persons
• Willingness for occasional client visits (1–3 times per quarter)

Nice to have:

• Experience working with industrial or production clients (MES, ERP, SCADA systems, sensor data)
• Knowledge of data warehouse modeling methodologies
• Experience with on-premise deployments
• Knowledge of tabular data formats

• Collecting and agreeing on requirements directly with clients, including business representatives and IT departments
• Analyzing client systems and data sources, assessing data quality, and communicating identified issues
• Designing data platform architecture: raw layer, data warehouse, and analytical systems
• Designing and implementing database and data warehouse models
• Designing and implementing data lake solutions
• Building ETL/ELT processes using data integration platforms extended by Python and Apache Spark
• Automating, monitoring, and deploying solutions to production
• Supporting the client post-deployment and expanding the platform to additional data sources
