The Recoveries team is part of the Repayments area, focused on building a platform to maximize recovery of charged-off loans and minimize discrepancies with business partner systems.
Wymagania
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Experience with batch processing or asynchronous workloads, including scheduled jobs and large-scale data processing, with focus on correctness, observability, and failure handling.
- Ability to define technical plans with elegant, simple, extensible designs and write high-quality, maintainable code.
- Proficient in making significant changes in large codebases safely with developed tools and practices.
- Takes ownership of personal growth, proactively seeking feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective global collaboration.

- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during the product development lifecycle.
- Identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, or business issues.
- Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating issues, and participating in on-call efforts.
- Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting and advocating for code review and design standards.
- Develop team talent through feedback and leading by example.
