Technical Writer

Ework Group is hiring for a temporary 6-12 month engagement to onboard an experienced API Technical Writer.

• Proven experience as an API Technical Writer.
• Fluency in formal, technical English.
• Ability to identify, build, and prioritize a backlog of documentation improvements.
• Experience working closely with product experts such as service owners and developers.
• Capability to produce clear, accurate, and structured documentation and tutorials.
• Skills to collaborate effectively with marketing copywriters and internal stakeholders.

• Own an improvement roadmap for API documentation: independently assess current content, build and prioritize a backlog, and plan delivery including timelines, deadlines, and review cycles.
• Gather requirements and insights by interviewing team experts and internal stakeholders; incorporate feedback and tailor content for target audiences.
• Create and maintain API reference documentation including endpoints, functions, parameters, sample code, and error messages.
• Explain how APIs interact with applications and business processes, including recommended usage patterns.
• Develop tutorials and adoption assets across formats (documents, eLearning, video scripts/storyboards).
• Write and maintain general developer-portal content beyond API reference docs such as onboarding guides, authentication, FAQs, and release notes.
• Produce or coordinate diagrams and visual aids to clarify products, processes, and integrations.
• Partner with solution experts to validate technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create technically credible sales collateral aligned with go-to-market messaging.

This is a temporary consultancy engagement for approximately 6-12 months. Office presence required 2-3 days per week in Wrocław (hybrid work mode).
