Governance & PMO Workstream Lead

The role is for a seasoned Governance & PMO Workstream Lead to own governance and programme management control frameworks for a high-profile regional transformation programme across the UK & Ireland region.

• Extensive experience establishing and leading Governance/PMO functions within large-scale, complex transformation programmes.
• Exceptional communication skills with credibility to influence and align senior leadership.
• Expertise in end-to-end planning, risk management, executive reporting, and delivery controls in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to rapidly assess governance maturity, identify operational gaps, and execute solutions independently.

• Establish and lead the Governance & PMO workstream, maintaining decision-making forums, reporting mechanisms, and control frameworks.
• Drive programme planning, manage cross-workstream dependencies, milestone tracking, and delivery assurance.
• Oversee RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), ensuring proactive escalation, mitigation, and resolution.
• Produce executive-level management information and communications.
• Ensure programme milestones align with Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance cycles and statutory reporting deadlines.
• Assess and rapidly implement improvements to governance arrangements across all workstreams.
