Software Engineer L4/5, Javascript Foundations

We are the JavaScript Foundations (JSF) team in Warsaw, key partners in building the "UI Paved Road" at Netflix, operating within a global, virtual organisation that shepherds JavaScript across the entire company—from the browser to Node.js services powering studio and streaming systems.

• Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
• Ability to manage ambiguity and self-prioritize

Nice to have:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with React.js

• Collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and the external JavaScript community
• Build and maintain strong relationships through continuous feedback loops
• Create clarity and drive alignment on technical and non-technical initiatives
• Understand how developers use JavaScript at Netflix to create optimal solutions and recommended practices
• Collaborate with internal teams and the JavaScript community to evolve the JavaScript vision at Netflix
• Provide and integrate libraries, tools, or workflows for efficient JavaScript software development
• Reconcile needs of internal ecosystem with external ecosystem trends
• Define and improve dependency management, packaging, and publishing for Node.js
• Address complex architectural problems with simple, intuitive designs
• Drive adoption of new technology into existing complex systems
