Senior Full Stack Software Engineer 4/5 - Client and Partner Technologies

This team focuses on enabling Smart TV+ partner devices including TVs, streaming sticks, and other "10-foot" devices with Netflix experiences by providing business-to-business solutions that scale the integrate, launch, operate, update, and retire lifecycle. The team also builds applications that enable partners to integrate with Netflix APIs to launch, operate, monitor, and update Partner Payment experiences, as well as tools that power Partner UI experiences like the Netflix Discovery Row.

• Solid experience with backend development using JVM technologies such as Java, Scala, and Kotlin, or alternatives like Python, C#, or Ruby.
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Proficient with databases.
• Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks, with React required; experience with Vue or Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools and delivering high-quality, well-tested code.
• Ability to innovate through iteration using prototypes and experiments.
• Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot complex systems built with microservice architecture.
• Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems, evaluating tradeoffs between refactor, rebuild, or buy.
• Ability to learn and use in-house software frameworks, components, and services effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills; curious, flexible, and selfless.

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate end-to-end full-stack solutions (from backend services and integrations to modern web UIs).
• Drive new technical solutions from requirements and system design through to deployment, collaborating with other engineering teams.
• Revamp and enhance existing tools and applications to improve reliability, usability, and alignment with current technologies.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to scope problems, shape product decisions, and define solutions.
• Focus on streamlining and simplifying user experiences for internal users or partners.
• Operate in a cross-functional, dynamic environment, collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines and domains.
• Uphold high engineering standards through thoughtful design, code quality, testing, and scalable practices.
