Senior Software Engineer 4/5 - Client And Partner Technologies

The Client and Partner Technologies (CPT) organization at Netflix focuses on enabling Netflix experiences on partner devices such as Smart TVs and streaming sticks. The Enablement Apps (EA) team works on web applications that support the lifecycle of partner products, including device management, configuration, testing, payment workflows, and partner UI experiences.

• Extensive experience in software development
• Strong backend development skills with programming expertise in at least one JVM language (Java, Scala, or Kotlin) preferred
• Experience with .NET, Python, or Ruby is acceptable if motivated to work primarily with Java for backend services
• Ability to innovate through iteration using prototypes and experiments
• Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot complex systems built with microservice architecture
• Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems and evaluating tradeoffs among refactor, rebuild, or buy
• Ability to learn and utilize in-house software frameworks/components/services effectively
• Excellent communication skills; being curious, flexible, and selfless

Nice to have:

• Experience or strong interest in React and GraphQL
• Genuine interest and willingness to engage in full-stack development and frontend tasks

• Drive new technical solutions across teams from requirements to application deployment
